Working with Brainwaves

These tracks can support energy work, meditation, somatic practices, movement, breathwork, visualization, reflective practice, and other experiential modalities by offering different sonic conditions for attention and awareness. A practitioner may choose a track according to the quality they wish to explore or use the soundscape responsively according to what is emerging within a session.

When working with clients, the tracks can help create a shared experiential environment without requiring a predetermined outcome. Sound can provide structure while still leaving space for individual responses, allowing sensation, emotion, imagery, movement, memory, and shifts in awareness to arise in different ways for different people.

These soundscapes explore Delta, Theta, Alpha, Beta, and Gamma not as frequencies to be reproduced literally, but as qualities of awareness translated into sound. Each track uses texture, movement, repetition, density, space, and tonal development to create a sonic environment that reflects a different way of being.

    Delta — Being as Depth
Delta moves toward continuity, weight, stillness, and reduced differentiation. The soundscape supports a deeply settled mode of awareness in which there is less need to follow individual events and more space to rest within the experience itself.

    Theta — Being as Permeability
Theta explores the threshold between outer perception and inner experience. Its unfolding textures create room for imagery, memory, sensation, intuition, and association to move more freely alongside the sound.

    Alpha — Being as Receptivity
Alpha supports an awake but less effortful quality of attention, where awareness can open, gather, and shift without becoming fixed. The soundscape invites a fluid relationship with experience—responsive, present, and receptive.

Beta — Being as Organized Relationship
Beta brings greater structure, differentiation, and participation into the listening field. Through voice, pattern, rhythm, and increasing organization, the track supports awareness in engaging with relationships between sounds, sensations, thoughts, and the surrounding environment.

Gamma — Being as Integrated Complexity
Gamma develops through increasing intensity, density, and simultaneity, gradually asking awareness to encounter complexity as a larger whole. Rather than following every element separately, the listener is invited toward coherence, integration, and a more expansive perception of the field.
