Facilitator Training (In Person)
Learning Through Shared Space and Time
In-person innerdance facilitator trainings offer an immersive learning environment rooted in direct experience, relational presence, and collective inquiry. These trainings bring participants together in shared physical space, allowing learning to unfold through sound, interaction, observation, and the subtle dynamics that emerge when people gather with intention.

While innerdance can be explored through different formats, in-person training emphasizes embodied understanding—learning not only about facilitation, but through it.
Why In-Person Training
In-person facilitator trainings support forms of learning that arise most clearly through physical presence and shared time. Being together allows for nuanced attunement, immediate feedback, and an expanded awareness of how facilitation unfolds within a group context.

Key aspects include:
-
Experiential learning through direct participation
-
Nervous system co-regulation in shared space
-
Observation of group dynamics and emergent processes
-
Facilitated reflection and integration
-
Learning shaped by relationship, not instruction alone

Much of what is transmitted in these settings is relational and situational—emerging through lived experience rather than prescribed outcomes.
Community and Emergent Learning
In-person trainings create a temporary learning community. Over the course of the training, shared rhythms of practice, rest, inquiry, and reflection allow participants to engage more deeply with both personal process and collective responsibility.

This shared container supports:
-
Trust built over time
-
Learning through witnessing and being witnessed
-
Responsiveness to what arises in the moment
-
An appreciation for facilitation as a relational practice

Each group is different, and each training is shaped by the people, place, and context in which it unfolds.
Relationship to Online Training
In-person facilitator trainings complement the Online Facilitation Course. While online training offers accessible, self-paced study of Innerdance principles and frameworks, in-person trainings deepen learning through embodied practice, group engagement, and shared presence.

Some participants engage with both pathways as part of their ongoing learning and integration.

Orientation and Responsibility
Innerdance facilitator training emphasizes self-responsibility, discernment, and respect for personal and collective boundaries. These trainings are educational and experiential in nature and are not a substitute for clinical training, therapy, or medical care.

Participants are encouraged to engage with curiosity, readiness, and appropriate external support when needed.

Continuing the Exploration

For those who want to deepen specific skills and areas of study alongside training, we offer focused courses designed to support continued learning and integration.
