In Support of Women & Families in Sri Lanka
This is a one-time, public online innerdance session held in solidarity with women and families in Sri Lanka. The gathering is offered as a shared space for presence, listening, and collective care.
All proceeds from this event go directly to the GoFundMe organized by Sharmila, a Sri Lankan woman currently supporting urgent needs on the ground in her home country. Participation is donation-based, and all are welcome—whether you join the live session or choose to contribute from afar.

About the Cause
Sri Lanka continues to face ongoing economic and social challenges after Cyclone Ditwah that have deeply affected women, families, and local communities. Access to basic resources, healthcare, and stability remains limited for many.
This fundraiser supports grassroots efforts coordinated by Sharmila, who is working directly with local women and families to respond to immediate needs with care, dignity, and accountability.

About the Session
This innerdance session will be facilitated by Serena, in collaboration with Sharmila, with whom she has shared past women-centered innerdance gatherings in Sri Lanka. The session is offered as a field of shared presence and listening—an opportunity to come together in support rather than to fix or resolve. Sharmila will share more about the women and families being supported at the beginning of the Zoom call.
During the session, participants are invited to rest comfortably while listening to a curated sound journey. Experiences may include stillness, sensation, movement, imagery, emotion, or quiet awareness—or may unfold in subtle ways. There is no expected outcome and no right way to participate.
The live session will be approximately 2.5 hours and held online via Zoom.
